Vocalzbyjamelle aka Tara Jamelle Jones is Yonkers, NY born and raised in White Plains, NY. She grew up in the music business in a household that was ran by her talented business minded parents that were fulltime professionals and fulltime music managers of a band led by the legendary Vaughan Mason.  Vocalzbyjamelle’s childhood was full of performances, late night rehearsals, auditions, studio recordings, getting booked for commercials, voice lessons and so much more. She was birthed for this business.

 

Vocalzbyjamelle is a multi-talented creator and global artist who has worked in the music and theatre industry for many years.  She has worked and toured in Paris, Africa, Germany, Italy, United Kingdom, Canada, L.A. and most cities in the United States.

 

Jamelle has graced records, huge projects, stages, theatres, Television, worked budgets, worked with record labels, written/co written for , Opened up for, vocal coached, performed studio and live background vocals and featured on major albums with the likes of  Tracy Morgan, French Montana, JOE, Trey Songz, Masta Ace, Jim Jones, Ashante, Fabulous, Eve, 3LW, Jarule, DMX, Shannon Greene, Leslie Odom Jr, Dame Dash, Melba Moore, Marley Marl, Carol Miraj, Bhawk, Keisha Chante, The Temptations, Mashonda, MC Hammer, Melvin Van Peebles, Andre Betts, The Bundies, Jerzee Monet, Swizz Beats, Brandy, Carl Payne, Eddie F, Keith Washington, Lil G, Peabo Bryson, Soul Train , Motown, Dreamworks, Ruff Ryders, LOUD RCA, Jive, Universal, Sony BMG Canada, M3 Records and a host of others.

 

Vocalzbyjamelle’s overseas presence has been amazing feat on various albums, TV and radio commercials that have done very well abroad. VBJ landed an Ad with The game “Twister” that  ran in Germany,  Italy and NY as well as Maybelline, Loan Jewelers & Campbells Soup. Music Releases overseas have been a huge part of VBJ’s world.  “Selfish Lover” and “Journey” (Produced by Lem Springsteen) to name a few were smashes that led to leasing and placements on major ad’s overseas. 

 

In 2018, Vocalzbyjamelle suffered a heart attack due to the stresses of anxiety, the industry, life and so many deadline’s that took her for a loop.  She went through horrible depression, lung (breathing problems), and lots of issues stemming from the ordeal till this day. She is built with bricks with an amazing spirit and family that got her through.

 

As an artist, vocal coach, and vocal producer, Vocalzbyjamelle has helped so many artists in their development.  It is now her time to shine. She is currently working on a major solo project of her own. Not only does she write the songs she vocal produces them adds all backgrounds and records her own vocals in her very own studio.  No need for any engineer until the record is complete and ready for the mix and master!  Singles like “When The Smoke Clears” (produced by Mandobeats), “Talk’n Me 2 Def” (Produced by EKgotskillz) and up coming single “360” (Produced by Mega Producer Jimi Kendrix) are available on all music platforms! This vocal beast goes hard and is ready for the world to hear what she’s got.
